Electrolyte-Supported Single Cell (ESSC)

A core SOFC stack component with dense electrolyte as structural support. Stacking sequence: Anode → Electrolyte → Cathode (sandwich structure). It stably realizes electrochemical reactions between fuel and oxidant at high temperatures, with high energy utilization,suitable for high-efficiency power generation and industrial energy recovery.

Operation/Application

  • Allowable operating temperature range: 600-1000℃
  • Compatible fuel types: Hydrogen, syngas, methane (dry/wet), methanol and other fuel gases.
  • Used as the basic unit of SOFC stacks, suitable for glass-ceramic sealing/vermiculite sealing (to meet different stack assembly requirements) .
